Create Your Own Candle Club

Honestly, so far I haven’t been impressed with the vessels that are coming with the kits.

These are gifts for my daughter, and she absolutely loves them!

I really love creating my own candle! It is something I look forward each month with regards to the aroma and display that will be. Also, it’s a fun project to do with my kids. Love it!!

I absolutely LOVE the idea of the Create Your Own Candle Club. My friends and I have really enjoyed making candles together for birthday celebrations and girls' nights. The CYOCC really is a special thing, and in my opinion the idea alone deserves 5 stars. With that, now that I've received several months of my subscription boxes I would say that I am generally underwhelmed with the candle container/jar selection. In fact, there's only been one candle container that I have liked enough to want to keep since I began subscribing to the Club. Could there possibly be a way for Hive and Home to ask club-members to choose the container they would like to have included in their subscription box from a select group of candle containers each month? This is likely be a huge ask. And maybe I'm the only subscriber who's not enjoyed the candle container/jar selections...? In that case it's not worth changing your processes for. Something I have found a little daunting is creating the fragrance -- or more specifically knowing how many drops to combine of each oil to come up with a lovely fragrance. This kind of thing doesn't come naturally or easily for me. I think my analytical mind can't think that creatively and whimsically maybe, :) so I find I use one oil and make a single fragrance each time rather than experimenting with mixing the oils and then having to throw away whatever I might have come up with. It would be helpful for a fragrance suggestion card to be included in the subscription box that includes one or two fragrance "recipes" (ie: specific number of drops of each oil to use to create a specific named fragrance). To be clear, the individual oils are great quality and are always very nice and lovely in and of themselves. And I love that the candle wax is also a clean burning wax.
